My weekend

iwoolf, Peter and his partner Jen (all the way from LA) came over for dinner. We watched Garo, Call of Cthulhu and The Great Yokai War. It was good to catch up with Jen again and we hope to see more of her whilst she's here.
Saturday,ferkster came over to work on the un-named play (provisional title "Hissy Fit" - but then that tends to be the provisional title for most of our plays). Finally came up with the plot complication needed to give the play a through line of action. I'm a lot happier with it now, but it required a bit of a rewrite.
Sunday - didn't do much. More driving, and I risked Burwood Road and heavy traffic for the first time, learning the valuable ninja driving skill of patience.murasaki_1966 spent the evening watching her new Civil War DVDs. I keep thinking Ironclads are from a parallel universe, or something by Moorcock - some of the paintings of the Ironclad battles look like the covers of steam-punk SF novels.
Any way, one more week of work, then I'm on holidays for a month. Yay!
