Cyberwar on Scientology

A group of hackers has started a series of denial of service attacks on Scientology servers

I have mixed feeling about this - on the one hand, I think Scientology is a cross between a scam and a cult and has done much more harm than good (if any.)

On the other hand - I prefer to see them persecuted in the courts (as they have persecuted others) and not subjected to the IT equivalent of blanket censorship - I think it will ultimately help Scientology retain it's dodgy religious status on the grounds of persecution. Nothing confirms religious belief like martyrdom, after all.

Here's the call to war - judging from the rhetoric I give it about two weeks before they get bored and go back to downloading hentai
