"Relics" in Singapore

For a moment I was worried because "Relics" wasn't listed as part of the Shorter and Sweeter program on the Esplanade website but we got an e-mail from Christine telling us that it went very well, sold out all nights and the Australian High Commissioner was especially impressed by "Relics". I've found an odd review of "Shorter and Sweeter" - the relevant part is:

Moving Fast and Relics were entertaining, absurdist pieces that required audiences to suspend their disbelief. A bit too much was required though.


Fair enough. The rest of the review has a strange and patronising tone - as if the reviewer didn't realise the cast were professional actors (or maybe they didn't think that Australia had any professional actors left - they're all in the US.)

Oh well, one shouldn't pay any attention to one's reviews, should one? Or indeed refer to oneself in the third person.
