I've been holding off a post on Short and Sweet until a situation has resolved itself.
Now, it's too late - my co-writer Brett (i.e.
ferkster) has blown the gaffe - as has the festival director Alex Broun in today's SMH:
At the other end of the political spectrum is Iain Triffitt's Faithless, in which a young man confronts his hippie mother with the fact that he's become a Christian. "The original director actually resigned from that because he thought it was pro-Christian propaganda, but we think it's important to have all sides," says Broun.
"Other end of the political spectrum..."?
The whole situation has been one huge pain in the butt.
( Sorry saga behind cut )

Our plays in Short and Sweet
So if anyone wishes to come along and see our plays - at least one of which we are sure will be on - the details are as follows:
"Faithless" (if it actually goes on - see earlier post) is on in Week 2 at the Seymour Centre - from the 8th to the 11th of February. Session starting at 8pm.
"Remember This" (which is going to be great fun, even if I do say so myself) is on in Week 3 at the Seymour Centre - from the 15th to the 18th of February. Session starting at 8pm.
Hope to see you there.
Booking information, prices, maps etc.

Oh yeah. One more thing.
Not play related.
I got the results of the various tests I've had since my collapse and the good news is -
well, there isn't any really good news, except that it's not diabetes or Meniere's disease or anything communicable or hereditary - it's just something that came loose in a small canal in my inner ear that can come loose at any time again and make me drop and vomit like a drunken marionette.
What have the top neurologists at RPAH given me for it?
A letter to show to Emergency the next time it happens, so I don't have to wait hours to get diagnosed like I did last time. I have to carry this letter with me at all times because -
that's the really groovy thing, they assured me it will happen again.
