What we did over Easter
Friday - take broccoli boxes over to Jenny who went back to LA on Saturday, but will hopefully be back with us soon. At her and Peter's place we watched the DVD of Bill Bailey's current live show Part Troll (which has a special resonance for Peter, no doubt.) Went back home, cleaned up study, played with cats. Found old (like from primary school old) photographs, including some from a trip to Europe with my mother that she suspected I still had somewhere.

murasaki_1966 could look for a new top. I was looking for the boxed set of Arrested Development and the director's cut of The Ninth Configuration but JB Hifi had neither, so I wound up getting the Babylon 5 2nd season boxed set. I found the Arrested Development boxed set in HMV so I'll go back for it later. HMV had a marked down copy of Three Kings, so I picked that up. Also picked up Promethea v4 from Kinokiniya. We went to see House of Flying Daggers at George Street Greater Union, but they didn't have the sessions for it as advertised, only having a 9pm session - way too late for us. What's the point of advertising times if they're not going to stick to them. Oh well. We went home, played with the cats some more and watched Girl With a Pearl Earring.
Sunday - Brett came over and we finished the first draft of our next radio play. He also brought over a Charley Chase dvd, so we watched a couple of shorts from it.
Monday - We had organised a games day, soashamel, shellshear, mrteufel, Ian Woolf and Tim (who doesn't seem to have a website) played a few games (I've put the session up as a geeklist.) Hopefully we can get a regular group going.
And today I've found that Brett and I are going to be interviewed about Relics for the documentary on Short and Sweet. We still have to contact the guy who was interested in turning it into a short film.
