I've received official word that "Relics" was placed in the top 30 submissions to Melbourne's Short and Sweet play festival. ferkster and I (and possibly murasaki_1966) will be making the trip down to Melbourne to see what's been done with it. There's also the possibility that "It's Not You" (the mobile phone play) will get a run in Newcastle. Our empire is spreading.
Monday, just before lunch, the power went out in the UTS tower building (and two other buildings) and we had to evacuate. In our case that meant walking down 26 flights of stairs. Fortunately my BPV calmed down after a while (look, the world's gone all spirally!) but my thighs and calves are still feeling the "benefit" (Day 3 - still walking like John Wayne.)

I just want it on record that: after having to install Server 2000 SP4, Windows Installer 3.0 and .net 2.0 just to test a frigging VB program; I hope the combination of Zune and Vista failing will reduce Microsoft to the level of a lemonade stand and we can all convert to a rational OS.
My mp3 player played all three Regurgitator tracks it had in a row on random shuffle. I hope that isn't a sign.
