The New Doctor

Just watched the Eleventh Hour (I wasn't going too - I didn't like the direction of the new Dr Who, I was getting irritated with Tennant's portrayal and I really didn't like the lazy writing.)

But I was tempted by Moffat's writing (I agree with [info]angriest, he's one of the best television writers in England, if not the world) so I broke, and watched it.

And Steven Moffat has returned the wonder of Dr Who to me,

As has Matt Smith.

I'm looking forward to Dr Who for the first time in years...

I think it was the weakest of Moffat's Who scripts to date but streets ahead of other Who over the last few years.

Agreed - though there's bits that keep coming to me (like paralleling Amy's growing up with the Doctor becoming, well, the Doctor) that I think were quite subtle and effective, and kind of overwhelmed by the music and freneticism.
