Should I get upset when a bunch of people wish me happy birthday because everyone is conforming to peer group pressure and demanding I do it too?

I'd be pissed off if people demanded I wish myself a happy birthday. "Go on - we want to hear it from your lips."

Though I'm happy to start "Talk like a Faerie" day, if only I knew what the bastards sounded like.
