I'd agree with his point if he didn't feel the need to be such a smug asshole about it. Does he also think people who go to church or attend football games or go to the movies suffer the same problem?
I don't see the bit where its claiming to be unconformist. All memes are conformist by their very nature. We're all conformists to some degree, no matter how special we like to pretend we are. look down. You wearing pants? You're a conformist. (note: if you're not wearing pants and you happen to be at work right now, I don't want to hear about it)
