Every time someone has mentioned the video, I've thought about how humiliated I would feel, were I Connie Willis, and how much more humiliated I would feel were people to view the video of my humiliation.

This is by way of saying: I understand why people want to see what hppened before commenting, but there's no way in hell I could, would, or feel even slightly inclined to.

I haven't heard Connie Willis' side of it, but I thought Harlan looked more humiliated.

Of course, looks have nothing to do with how people feel, but your statement above implies I have no right to post this as I'm only perpetuating the crime, rather than trying to put it into context.

I'm a librarian. I like evidence. So the brouhaha was so loud and long over this, that I thought examining the evidence was necessary. So I was rather suprised that the alleged grope was more like a misplaced pat. From the amount of outrage I though he had just grabbed and squeezed.

Needless to say, Mr Ellison needs to watch where his hands go (particularly as he has a track record of inappropriate physical contact). Accidently or otherwise, it's wrong to touch people (male or female) in certain places.

What is it about breasts lately? An article in Salon's Braodsheet reported that people were complaining about a cover photo on a BREASTFEEDING magazine that showed a baby feeding. Why is a naked breast (especially one that is doing what it was designed for) more upsetting than extreme violence?

AFAIC you're not perpetuating anything, you're providing objective evidence to enable people to make up their own minds.

Frankly next to the Diane Brimball case, Connie and Harlan are a storm in a teacup. There is far far worse things out there....get indignant over them and help fight the real problem.

Um, no, sorry if it came across that way, that wasn't my intent. It exists, and is public, and of course you have a right to post it. It was more an explanation of why I won't view it and couldn't post it as you have done, not a judgement of your action.
