Much as I detest Monopoly as a game (being very much a board game snob) it's a useful template for variations on a theme - first there was Antimonopoly, about breaking up corporations (ironically sued by Parker Brothers for breach of IP) - and now there's Patriot Act

It was recently discovered Parker Bros couldn't legally claim copyright on Monopoly at all, so there's been all sorts of interesting variations, including Necronomonopoly.
