Finally, someone I've read.

Harold Pinter has won the Nobel Prize for Literature

I've always enjoyed his plays with their uniquely English sense of menace.

I understand his acceptance speech went like this:

PINTER: Thank (pause) you (longer pause) Academy. This means

A PAUSE OF FIVE DAYS DURING WHICH EVERYONE PACKS UP AND GOES HOME

PINTER: (CONT) so much - where's everybody (pause) gone?

LOL, yes. And wow a Nobel Literature winner whom I've actually read (only 'The Birthday Party' but still)

A deserved win.

One hates to boast, but I've read several. (but not Woodrow Wilson). Last one was Seamus Heaney. But he was always a favourite.
