10 things I’ve done that you probably haven’t (or shouldn’t)

filched from [livejournal.com profile] eynowd

1. Watched a bull being slaughtered with a machete
2. Supported Robin Williams
3. Appeared in an Austen Tayshus film clip
4. Written for Australia’s no. 1 rating show (at the time)
5. Eaten dog food on stage
6. Got stoned with Spider Robinson
7. Frightened off Frank Sartor with a rubber chicken
8. Spent time in a US jail
9. Been a clown in an amusement park (a very, very small one)
10. Been both a jury member for a convicted criminal AND performed with the actor who portrayed him (Both parties involved have the initials RR)

I want a divorce! You didn't tell me that you supported Roin Williams. Shame!
Was he very heavy?
:)
What will become of the kittens?

Fascinating. Your best post yet.
1. Apocalypse Now was a good film wasn't it.
2. I have to disagree with Mrs jack_ryder on this - Robin Williams was a great standup comic. His problem is he made too many wacky guy films and I think it's to his credit that he is playing more downbeat roles. I haven't seen One Hour Photo but he did a considered performance in Insomnia
3. Aren't you going to tell us which one? That way we can seek it out. It's the only reason I'd expose myself (heh) to more Austen Tayshus. Sure "Australiana" and "The Bicentennial Song" were clever but that video where he gets chased off for fucking the sheep seats at the Big Merino was very unfunny.
4. I'm as green as Doc Samson over this one.
5. Euuurgh. It's not nice is it (doh)?! Better than Divine's effort though.
6. The Crazy Years, eh? (I had to look this guy up)
7. Classic. If you were still in the industry would it be a whoopee cushion for Clover Moore?
8. You're right, I wouldn't want to do this one.
9. Big deal. I've been a clown in all sorts of situations ;-)
10. So it's not Ronald Reagan or Robert Redford or Rockets Redglare or Rocky Raccoon or.. sheesh I give up.

I assume that's you, Berko_Wills

1. No it wasn't (either a good film or where I saw the bull being slaughtered.)
3. I can't tell you which one cause I don't remember. I appear reflected in his sunglasses at the very beginning, however (someone recognised me when it was shown on Rage) - It had a lot of people falling into a pool, and used Haskell Daniel to do beatbox stuff.
4. So just the hair then?
6. I found out later that Spider Robinson was one of Llyn's favourite authors ([livejournal.com profile] murasaki_1966)
10. One was in "Van Helsing" the other (whilst back in jail) performed with Chopper.

That would be Richard Roxburgh, then, and...

...(skims imdb)...

...Ronald Ryan?

I'm not that old.

Another clue (I thought Richard Roxburgh would have given it away) the other RR was a detective.

I'm not that old.
And neither is Chopper, of course, as I'd have realised if I'd bothered to stop and work out why the name "Ronald Ryan" rang a bell.

Another clue (I thought Richard Roxburgh would have given it away)
I have to confess that I'm not actually familiar with anything Richard Roxburgh did before Moulin Rouge!. I only tried to guess because your first clue made it obvious that it was Richard Roxburgh, and I figured I could work the rest out from IMDb (who knew that he'd played two Australian convicts with the initials RR?).

the other RR was a detective.
Then, of course, it must be Roger Rogerson.

I am sooo jealous of your luck in meeting one of my favorite authors. Although I don think I could have done the drugs bit. Hash makes me throw up.

Sorry, but Robin Williams makes me cringe. I've never liked him, ever since Mork and Mindy. I feel that he's trying to hard to be liked. His performance at either the Oscars or the Golden Globes made me want to hide.

But I will concede that his performance in Insomnia was very good.
