It's an important thought and obviously many people are having it...although my mother would be grateful if I stopped announcing to the guides at the Jewish Museum that I admire their secret lives as super heroes.

I actually wrote the book, BTW, but haven't yet found a publisher.

The wonderful Gail Simone does a comic book series about a retirement community for superheroes called "Welcome to Tranqulity" - but it doesn't really take the kind of tack that you'd be interested in.
