Odd story about an Australian religious cult taking out newspaper ads in support of GWB.

Not, not Family First or the Liberal party.

Anyone else seen this reported in Australian news?

I have relations - Great Uncle's family - who are Brethren and this seems to fly in the face of their whole practice and belief system; it's like a Quaker deciding to support a "just war"

There again, how deliciously appropriate that a group who keeps itself deliberately uninformed about world events should pick Bush: the pin-up boy for the wilfully ignorant.
