Death of another legend

Steve Gerber has passed away

(creator of Howard the Duck, for those not in the know.)

A real shame. One of the great writers from when comics were fun. And his recent work (Hard Time and now the possible unfinished Dr Fate) were fascinating, entertaining and unique.

Wasn't so into his early superhero work but Howard the Duck was brilliant and unique. "Only he could make the character work". So true.
Very sad news :-(
