Why I like David Borger
(When we lived in Westmead we almost had the chance to vote for him in the state election - but the Labour Hard-Right faction put their own candidate in. Scumbags. At least he's now the State Member for Granville - he had to switch electorates.)
(In fact, I'd much prefer Borger to run the Federal ALP - but I'm not holding my breath. And he probably doesn't want the position anyway.)
(Another aside - I've been pissing around with notions of urban architecture for various reasons - the Melbourne trip helped - and it's nice to see that at least one public figure's on the same page.)
