Not as bad as it seems

I was thinking today on the way to work, that things could be worse, we could be back in the Eighties. I don't know if you recall, but back then due to Ronald Reagan, there was the constant belief that thermonuclear war would break out between the US and the Soviets with the rest of the world caught in the middle.

Nowadays we just have to worry about localised explosions (the bio-warfare doesn't seem to have started yet)

The age of terrorism may have just started, but at least the age of nuclear annihilation seems to be in remission.

No doubt North Korea will prove me wrong.
