The day you cease to be optimisitc is the day I flee with fright.

As long as you don't flee to England as all air traffic is grounded.

Now *that's* what I call a volcano!

Wow! Can I have one in the backyard?

I hadn't even heard about the Volcano of Doom. It's disappinting we live in such a seismically boring part of the world. We never have mountains that explode or anything fun like that. And the most recent Tsunami of Death turned out to be a big fizzer as well. It seems like the End of the World may well decide to ignore Australia as not being worth the effort.

OR to look at it another way, it might be the only safe place left to stand.

It could well be! No Volcano of Doom can touch us!

But we do get earthquakes, bushfires, flies, drought, snakes and politicians.

But we do get earthquakes, bushfires, flies, drought, snakes and politicians.

Not to mention killer fish, killer octopuses, killer crocodiles, killer sharks, etc. You're not really safe anywhere!
